Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is one of the popular trek in Annapurna region. This is one of the shortest and beautiful trek in Nepal. This trek is suitable for those who don't have enough time but still want to see beautiful mountain view. This trek can be done 3 or 4 days. Itinerary can be made according to your time availability.
This trek is famous for sunrise and sunset view over the magnificent mountains. This trek rewards you incredible view of Annapurna I(8091m)-which is world's tenth highest mountain. Dhaulagiri(8167m)-which is world's seventh highest mountain. Besides that you will breathtaking view of Nilgiri(7061m), Fishtail(6997m), Tukuche(6920m),Dhampus peak(6012m) etc. This trek rewards us colorful flowers of rhodendron forest and different flora and fauna. Apart from this, it offers you opportunity to explore local people, lifestyle, culture, tradition of Himalayan people.
This trek starts after driving to Pokhara which is 200km west from Kathmandu. You can take 30 minutes flight to Pokhara or drive 6-7 hrs. by tourist bus through the bank of beautiful Trishuli and Marshyandi river. This trek can be doing even not having any hiking experiences. Accommodation along the trek will be comfortable with Wi-Fi, Hot shower, Charging etc. This trek really makes you happy and feel blessed.
